Latchford's Under Twelve's were made to work hard by a determined and much-improved Bulldogs side. Antony Britton, Ashley Cornelia, Zack Taylor and Lee Vaughan impressed in a fine defensive team effort, which provided the springboard for the Albion's expansive attacking play.

Tries were shared between Ross Pendlebury, Tom Rigby, Ryan Main and Joe Mellor, while James Astley, Joshua Mullaney and Dominic Hudson enjoyed sound games. For some there's a short break from training but for ten of the Under Twelves there's no respite as they train and play for the Service Area.

A skilful and organised Blackbrook side halted Latchford's lengthy unbeaten spell in the final of the North West Counties Cup.

The Albion failed to deliver their best form on the day but their appearance in the league's premier cup final still provides a measure of the rapid progress they have made.
Latchford's solitary try scorer was Joe Mellor. Good work by Ashley Cornelia and Richie Burnett set up the try while the independent observers awarded Latchford's Anthony Britton player-of-the-match

'Britto' is one of eleven players from our current U12's squad who were selected for this year's Warrington Service Area U12's squad.

Nine others played for us last season: Richie Burnett, Jack Cooper, Ashley Cornelia, Joe Mellor, Ross Pendlebury, Ben Reynolds, Thomas Rigby and Lee Vaughan.
