WELCOME TO THE LATCHFORD ALBION WEBSITE - WHERE RUGBY LEAGUE BEGINS, DEVELOPS AND ENDURES

Reg Kenwright

Reg had served in the RAF during the Second World War and joined the Albion shortly after

the club's formation in the late forties.

He was a slightly built winger standing around 5' 7'' tall at a time when Latchford boasted several in that position. Even though opportunities were limited Reg turned down the chance to play for other clubs including Eagle Sports to stay at his beloved Latchford.

When his playing days were over he turned his hand to Crown Green Bowls.

Reg passed away on April 25th 2003, aged 77 years leaving a wife Gladys, son Peter and two grandsons.
