The RFL has launched a brand new code of conduct for everybody involved in the Rugby League game...
The "RESPECT" campaign was officially launched at the Gillette Tri-Nations final on Saturday 26th November. The programme will include a series of announcements and separate initiatives, training opportunities, club developments, new information packages, volunteer activities, road shows and education resources. The code is designed to encourage sportsmanship, discipline, fair play, tolerance and inclusivity.
Richard Lewis, the executive chairman of the RFL said, "Rugby League is no different to any other activity in life and by and by launching the "RESPECT" campaign we are making a statement about what we expect from the people in our sport".
Our aim is to have distributed a copy of the campaign to the hands of all Rugby League Players, Coaches, Clubs, involving Volunteers and Match Officials by the end of February. However, you can view the RESPECT brochure online using the below link:
