9 Feb 2005 - Monthly Coaches' Meeting
Fundraising co-ordinator - Ann Thompson was introduced to the meeting as newly appointed fundraising co-ordinator. Her responsibility will be to seek out new avenues for finance and co-ordinate applications for various funds and awards. She gave a presentation of the work she has already undertaken in this area. A fundraising sub-committee was formed to deal with these matters outside of the main meeting.
School Promotional Leaflet - This is nearing completion but in the meantime posters have been put in all the local schools
Club Membership - we will soon have over 180 youth playing members registered when all cards come in
Matchday refreshments - several age groups are concerned over the quality and price of our aftermatch refreshments. Some teams will now be making alternative arrangements.
Clubmark - Stuart McIntosh has submitted the annual revalidation form for the approval of Neil Kelly, Warrington's Rugby League Development Officer
Club Welfare & Equality - Robbie Ryan's CRB form has come through and Dave Appleby's application is being processed. This wil complete all necessary checks. John Wilkinson has now been enhance checked.
Courses available - Core Stability is now to be attended by a representative of the U12, 14, 15 & 16 teams.
Developing power & speed is on 26/02 at Chester applications through Sean Mellor
Emergency First Aid courses are available via Sean Mellor
Coaching Disabled Members on 08/03 at Congleton applications through Sean Mellor
Equality in Your Coaching on 09/03 applications through Sean Mellor
Equipment - extra tackle shields have been ordered. Post protectors are en route
U16's NW girls side - Andy Wood has accepted the position of head coach
Representative Rugby - Service Area nominations have been requested from our coaches
