26 Feb 2008 - Service Area Squads 2008

The 2008 Service Area squads have been selected for the age groups Under 12, 13, 14 and 15's and Latchford Albion's Youth Section are well represented again.

Considering Latchford Albion are not running an Under 12 team this season congratulations are due to Sam Dobson who has been selected as a reserve in the U12 squad. Sam is currently playing up an age group with our Under 13 Giants. Also selected is James Johnson, a former player with our current U13 Unicorns and who Latchford still hold his registration.

At Under 13 level we have eight players in the main squad of twenty and two more among the five reserves. Those selcted are David Lea, Declan Patton, Jack Morgan, Josh Wall, Andre Savelio, Jake Slydell, Callum Wright, Chris Hunt with Liam Sullivan and Mikey Wharton.

The U14's squad has Alex Pendlebury and Jon Rigby who play up with our U15 Unicorns and Sean Boyle, Andy Gilbert, Jordan Sherlock and Jimmy Rowlands who are from our U14 Giants.

Finally in the U15's we have Matt Reid and Feme Adeputan with Tom Hardman among the number. Last year's squad member Damon Rauhihi decided against trying out this year.

Latchford sympathise with those who didn't get on this time, there's always next year and next season you can work hard to show the selectors to take another look. For those who have been selected, well done, Latchford Albion are pleased you are mainatining the proud tradition of representing your town and taking further steps along the pathway that can develop you further in the sport. Remember, what you learn can help boost your team when you return and cascade the information.
