Another year older but nothing changes. Latchford's U8's ran out comfortable winners to continue their unbeaten run started as U7's. Jesse Domic ran in six tries, Harvey Livett four, Kurt Whiteley two and Jake Upton. Top tacklers were James Jones and Bradley Byron, while Connor Byron and Sam Reynolds had good strong games. Latchford Albion U8's - 20

Another game with no substitutes, yet still producing the goods to win again at Leigh MR. Strong running from James Jones and Sam Reynolds created space for Jesse Domic to score 2 tries with great sidesteps and pace, outwitting the Leigh defence. Bradley Byron showed he was capable of similar moves as he scorched in for a brace out wide. The other try scorer was Harvey Livett. Great creative play from Sam Dobson and Connor Byron and great defence from Connah Jones and Jason Murray to keep the winning streak going. Back to top

A tough encounter for Latchford that ended their unbeaten run of eleven games. Great performances against a big and strong Haydock team came from Jesse Domic, Kurt Whiteley and Harvey Livett in attack and Connor Byron, James Jones, Mike Moye, Connah Jones and Jake Upton in defence. Back to top

Crosfields U8's - 40

Latchford had beaten Crosfields on two previous meetings and now it was revenge time. Harvey Livett scored three tries and Albion's three newest players had a harsh baptism. Finally Jesse Domic ran the length of the field to score and reduce the gap. Crosfields' coach selected Connor Byron as Latchford's best player. Back to top

A big improvement was seen all round from a Latchford side regaining their confidence.
The opposition felt Harvey Livett was the most dangerous Latchford player as he scored a brace of tries. Bradley Byron, Sam Dobson, James Jones, Jake Upton and Kurt Whiteley added the other tries. Back to top

This was an excellent performance in which Latchford displayed real team spirit. Some of the Albion's newer players made their mark in this game.
Try scorers were Harvey Livett (3), Bradley Byron (2), Sam Dobson (2), Kurt Whiteley (2), Jake Upton (2), Cameron Jolley, James Jones and David Walsh.
These were the first ever tries for Cameron and David.

This was a good team-spirited game, played in adverse weather conditions.
Mike Moye grabbed his second consecutive hat trick. Kurt Whiteley scored two. Other try scorers were Harvey Livett, Jesse Domic, Jake Upton, Bradley Byron, and player-of-the match Connor McGowan Jolley. This was Connor's first ever try for the Unicorns. Back to top

'A vastly improved Latchford side' was the comment from the Wasps' coach who picked out Harvey Livett as the Unicorns' 'Player of the Match'. Latchford were narrowly defeated by an unbeaten Wasps side.

This game was played on the Tuesday evening rather on the usual Sunday morning but still produced an excellent performance from both teams. Harvey Liveet claimed a hat trick, Jake Upton scored two tries and Kurt Whiteley weighed in with another. The Moorfield coach though Sam Dobson was the pick of the Albion players. Back to top

Latchford put in a vastly improved performance from their last meeting with the mighty Blackbrook side. Certainly the Royals are a benchmark for other teams at this level and one that the Albion can measure themsleves against.

Rylands Sharks' U8'S 36

This fixture was rearranged for Wednesday evening and proved a tough test for Latchford who fielded a predominately inexperienced Under 7's side in order for them to gain match experience. It was a hard but valuable lesson.
One of the youngsters who'll form a backbone of next year's Under 8's, Connor Byron, was selected as the player-of-the-match by the Rylands' coach.
Another of the younger players, Harvey Livett scored 2 tries. Jake Upton and Mike Moye scored the other tries. Back to top

An exciting match to watch in which Latchford prevented Chorley from scoring in the second half due to some top tackles from player-of-the-match Reece Brunt, but the damage was already done securing a good win for them.
