The U12's find themselves placed into the top league despite still developing and having 9 players making their debuts. Hopefully that is only for the first 4 games then they drop down to play more equivalent opposition. In this game Latchford's first points of the season came from the boot of Jordan Stephenson. Defensively and offensively Carl Evans was the most effective player, ably supported by Lewis Litherland and Josh Stanger. Back to top

Thatto Heath Crusaders U12's - 24

Latchford won't experience many more aggressive and combative games than this and it was a closer affair than the score suggests with just two points in it at half time. Phil Atherton scored a fine solo try from acting half back that Jordan Stephenson converted. An outstanding second half display of passing gave Lewis Litherland recognition as did Luke Jones' incisive runs and Atherton's tackling. Back to top
